For many patients and their families, a visit includes filling out unfamiliar forms and answering financial and insurance questions. The information below and the phone numbers that follow can help with this process.
Dyersburg Regional Medical Center will honor assignments of insurance benefits for 45 days from the date of billing to the insurance company. If, at the end of 45 days, the insurance company has not settled the account, Dyersburg Regional Medical Center will look to the patient for the final settlement of the account.
Any patient having inadequate insurance coverage, or no insurance coverage, will be requested to make appropriate deposits at the time of admission.
If you provide insurance information and completed forms at the time of your admission visit, it will be available to the physician's billing departments upon request. If you were unable to provide this information at the time of your visit, please send completed form when you receive bills. If you need to know what services or percentages of bills are covered by your insurance, please contact your insurance provider. Most healthcare insurance cards have these contact numbers listed on them.
