The Maternal/Newborn department consists of skilled RN’s and LPN’s, many of which have been working here for over 30 years. All nurses are NRP certified and most nurses have certification in their respective specialties. Educational seminars are frequently attended on fetal monitoring, obstetrical emergencies and level one and two nurseries. The hospital offers sibling classes, breastfeeding classes, and childbirth classes which are free to patients delivering here at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
