
Dyersburg Regional Medical Center offers a full range of diagnostic imaging. With five board certified radiologists on staff to interpret radiology tests and much of today's modern equipment, we provide the expertise and convenience to meet your imaging needs.
Diagnostic Radiology:The department is open 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week and performs all types of radiographs.
CT Scan:The department is open Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. for scheduled exams and is available after hours and weekends for emergent studies. We currently have a Phillips multi-slice helical scanner that will allow us to perform many new studies such as CT angiography and cardiac imaging. The two registered technologists have a combined experience of 30 years. CT Scans have to be scheduled by your attending physician.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI):The department is open Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. for the convenience of our patients. We have recently purchased a 1.5T G.E. scanner with many new software programs, and we are accredited by the American College of Radiology. This allows us to offer most all studies that can be performed in MRI, including MR angiography. MRI tests have to be scheduled by your attending physician.
The MRI suite is set up for the patient's comfort and convenience. The two registered technologists have a combined experience of 17 years in MRI.
Ultrasound:The ultrasound department is open Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.and is available after hours and weekends for emergent exams. We have recently purchased two new Phillips/ATL ultrasound machines that allow us to perform all ultrasound procedures, including echocardiography, vascular studies, abdominal, OB/Gyn and 3D studies.
We have three registered ultrasound technologists with over 50 years of combined experience in ultrasound. Ultrasound tests have to be scheduled by your attending physician.
Nuclear Medicine:The nuclear medicine department is open Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and is available on weekends for emergent exams. We offer most all studies available along with isotopic therapy, including cardiac, bone, lung, thyroid, gallbladder, renal, and hyperthyroid therapy.
We have two registered nuclear medicine technologists with 30 years of combined experience.
Mammography:The mammography department is open Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. You may schedule a screening mammogram by calling (731) 287-2223. If you need a diagnostic mammogram, your attending physician will schedule. The department is accredited by the American College of Radiology and is FDA approved.
We have two registered mammographers, and also offer bone densitometry exams.
Interventional Radiography:This service is available and must be scheduled by your attending physician. We utilize G.E. Advantx special procedure equipment.
